Built for Tamil events, not generic ones.
Every feature on EventBoss was designed with Tamil hosts in mind. From family bookings to bilingual pages, the platform fits the way you actually run events.
Family & group bookings
Tamil families rarely buy one ticket at a time. Offer family packs of 4, 6, or 8 with bundled pricing. Group tickets reduce checkout friction and increase your average order size.
Bilingual event pages
Publish your event in English and Tamil side-by-side. Older audiences and Tamil-script readers get a page in their language. Search-friendly for both audiences.
Choose your community recipient
Pick which Tamil community organisation receives the contribution from your event. Upcycled Tech, Tamil Language Schools, Refugee Council, or others. The recipient appears on your event page.
Offline-ready scanning
Many community venues have poor reception. Our scanning app caches the attendee list locally so you can check guests in even when the WiFi drops out on event night.
Waitlists & past attendees
When your event sells out, capture interest with a waitlist. Past attendees of your previous events get priority access to your next one, building loyalty automatically.
Real-time analytics
See sales as they happen. Track sources, track your busiest channels, see your community contribution live. Export everything to CSV or share a dashboard link with your team.
From setup to payout in four steps.
EventBoss is built to be fast. Most hosts go from creating an event to selling their first ticket in under 20 minutes.
Create your event
Five-step wizard. Title, date, venue, tickets, community recipient. Bilingual content if you want it. Preview before you publish.
Set your tickets
Add as many ticket types as you need. GA, premium, family packs, free RSVPs. Add discount codes for early-bird or member pricing.
Share & sell
Share your event link. Tamil audiences discover it on EventBoss browse. Promote on WhatsApp, Instagram, your own site. We handle checkout.
Get paid & give back
Payouts to your AUD bank account weekly. We report what your event contributed to the Tamil community. You see exactly where the money went.

What organisers say about us.
EventBoss has been the home for our shows since the start. The audience is already there, the family packs are huge for our community, and knowing the platform sends money back to Tamil causes makes us feel good about every ticket we sell.
We were paying $1.29 per ticket on the bigger platforms and getting no community love back. Moved to EventBoss and immediately saw lower fees and a real audience that turns up for our nights. The community-investment story sells itself.
Setting up our annual Tamil New Year Festival used to take a weekend on the old platform. On EventBoss it took an afternoon, and we could publish a Tamil version of the event page that finally let our older attendees book without help from their kids.
Choosing which Tamil cause our event supports is the feature that won me over. We pick a different recipient each show. Audiences see it on the event page and on their tickets. It changes how people feel about buying.
Things hosts often ask.
If your question isn't answered here, get in touch — we usually reply within a few hours during business days.
How much does EventBoss cost?
Free events are always free, with no limit on tickets. Paid events have a fee of 5% + $0.50 per paid ticket, which includes payment processing. There are no monthly fees, no setup fees, and no surprise charges. You only pay when you sell a paid ticket.
When do I get paid?
Funds are paid out to your AUD bank account weekly, usually 5 business days after each sale settles. For new hosts, we hold the first batch until 72 hours after your first event to protect attendees in case of cancellation. After that, weekly payouts run automatically.
How does the community-investment commitment work?
A defined share of EventBoss's net profit on every ticket sold goes to Tamil community programs. Net profit means after payment processing, after your host payout, and after EventBoss operating costs. You can pick which partner organisation receives the contribution from your specific event, and the amount appears live on your event page so attendees see exactly where their ticket money is going.
Do I need an ABN to host an event?
For free events, no. For paid events, you'll need to complete a quick verification step with our payment partner Stripe, which requires your ABN if you have one, or your personal ID if you're hosting as an individual. The process takes about 5 minutes. If you're not sure which applies to you, we'll walk you through it.
Can I cancel an event and refund attendees?
Yes. From your host dashboard you can issue full or partial refunds for individual attendees, or cancel an event entirely and refund all attendees in one action. Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear on the buyer's card within 5–10 business days. You set the refund policy that applies to your event before publishing.
What if my event has reception issues at the venue?
The EventBoss scanning app caches your full attendee list to the phone before the event, so it works offline. Scans sync to the dashboard when the phone reconnects. We also let you download a printable backup attendee list 24 hours before the event, just in case.
Can I migrate from Eventbrite or another platform?
Yes. We help you import past event data, attendee lists, and recurring event templates from Eventbrite, Humanitix, or Wix. For larger migrations, we'll set up a 30-minute call to walk through your setup and migrate your first event together. Email organisers@eventboss.com.au.
Who can I contact for support?
Email organisers@eventboss.com.au and we'll reply within a few hours during business days. For event-day urgent issues, every host gets a direct support number that's monitored from 4 hours before your event through to 2 hours after it ends.
Your next event, built for our community.
Set up in 20 minutes. Sell tickets the same day. Know that every ticket sold reinvests in Tamil community programs alongside paying you.
